Professional AV Integration β Southwestern Ontario
HYPERVSN is the category-defining 3D holographic display platform β high-speed rotating LED arrays that render a true volumetric image floating in mid-air, visible from every angle without glasses. The visual itself is striking. The business case is what's driven its adoption across Samsung, Coca-Cola, BMW, Disney, and a growing list of retailers and CPG brands.
Alanson Media is an Authorized HYPERVSN Reseller. We design and install holographic systems across Southwestern Ontario for retailers, automotive dealerships, hospitality groups, and event activations. This guide breaks down the actual measurement data behind the technology β what HYPERVSN displays do to engagement, dwell time, and conversion when they're deployed properly.

The human visual system is heavily biased toward novelty and depth cues. A flat screen showing a moving image registers as "advertising" in the first half-second β your brain has filed it away with thousands of other flat-screen ads. A floating 3D image breaks the pattern. There's no glass. There's no frame. Light is moving in space the way physical objects do. Your visual cortex hasn't been trained to filter it out yet, so attention sticks. This is the entire reason the engagement numbers are so disproportionate.
Tracked HYPERVSN campaigns measure an average of 13.9 seconds of viewing time per customer engagement, with single locations recording 10,000+ stops in a month. Compare that to flat-screen retail signage, where measured viewing time averages 1.6 seconds β a number that includes "glanced and walked past." HYPERVSN gets ~9Γ the actual attention. That's the asset working: time-on-message before the customer's brain decides to file it under "ad."
Window displays that visibly out-perform flat-screen versions in foot-traffic stops. Especially effective in shopping centres and high-density urban retail where neighbouring storefronts also have flat signage.
Hotel lobbies, corporate HQ receptions, premium showrooms. Tested as the highest-impact element in lobby refresh projects β HYPERVSN as the centerpiece, ambient AV around it.
Vehicle hero shots, feature highlight reels, customization preview. Dealerships running HYPERVSN report extended customer time-in-showroom β directly correlated with higher salesperson engagement opportunities.
Trade shows, product launches, concerts. The hologram is itself the photo-worthy moment. Attendee social media generation around HYPERVSN installations consistently outperforms traditional signage.
Life-size human holograms β receptionists, brand ambassadors, AI-driven avatars (HYPERVSN integrates with ChatGPT-style language models). Use cases: 24/7 lobby greeters, interactive product specialists, event hosts.
Floating menu items, signature drink reveals, brand-driven content during peak hours. Particularly strong in upscale bars and restaurant lobbies where the visual becomes part of the venue identity.
HYPERVSN devices come in several form factors, each engineered for a specific deployment scenario. The right device depends on viewing distance, target image size, and ambient lighting conditions.
All figures Canadian dollars. Includes hardware, mounting, content management software, install labor, and basic content production. Excludes ongoing custom content production (~$2β10K/campaign).
Generic 2D advertising playing on a HYPERVSN device gets a fraction of the engagement a properly-designed 3D asset gets. The displays render full volumetric content β your creative needs to use that volume. Rotating products, 3D logos, animated humans, depth-aware compositions. We work with content partners who specialize in HYPERVSN-native production. Plan for content as a real line item in the budget β not an afterthought.
1. Buying the hardware without a content plan. A HYPERVSN device showing a static logo in a loop is a $15K logo. Plan content production before purchase, with a refresh cadence.
2. Wrong placement. Hologram visibility depends on viewing angle, ambient light, and competing visual content. Site survey before install is non-negotiable β we do this for every project.
3. Underspec'ing for image size. A single SmartV in a 30,000-square-foot lobby is lost. Match device array size to room scale.
4. No content management workflow. Like all digital signage, HYPERVSN needs a CMS and an owner. Without somebody scheduled to update content, the same hologram plays for months and customers stop seeing it.
5. Ignoring mounting and infrastructure. Wall arrays need proper structural mounting and clean power runs. We pre-wire this during AV install for new construction; retrofits require careful planning.
